Bulk carriers are ships designed to transport unpackaged materials such as coal, cement, grain, sand, ore, and minerals; usually one type per voyage.
These vessels are classified by size:
- Handysize (15,000–35,000 DWT)
- Handymax (40,000–50,000 DWT)
- Supramax (50,000–60,000 DWT)
Many are equipped with onboard cranes (geared) for independent loading/unloading, while gearless vessels rely on port facilities.
At Waruna Group, bulk carrier operations are managed by PT Asia Mulia Transpasifik. We currently operate 11 bulk carriers, serving both private and state-owned clients, primarily transporting energy resources to support Indonesia’s power plants.
As demand grows, we continue to expand our fleet and geographic reach to meet the nation's logistics and energy needs.
